These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.About the RoleThe Data Engineer sits within the Data and Reporting Services team and reports to the Manager, Data and Analytics. The role is responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data architectures on Microsoft Azure to support enterprise analytics, reporting, data governance and compliance.This position undertakes end‑to‑end data engineering activities, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and storage using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL environments.
